Registered Nurse – Radiation Oncology

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (Monday – Friday, 5x8 Hours, 7:00–15:30) | 40 Guaranteed Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage procedural radiation oncology cases in collaboration with the care team
  • Prepare patients for radiation procedures and provide continuous support from pre-procedure through discharge
  • Maintain a patient ratio of 1:5 throughout the shift
  • Document patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic health record system
  • Float within service line scope as needed to meet facility staffing needs

Required Qualifications

  • Active RN license (MO or compact license required; compact must match permanent residence)
  • Minimum 2 years of registered nursing experience
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications required by compliance deadline
  • Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
  • No first-time travel nurse placements accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Oncology nursing experience and/or procedural nursing background
  • Chemotherapy (CHEMO) certification or Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) credential
