Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:45–07:15) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting
- Perform phlebotomy and IV therapy in accordance with facility protocols
- Manage and monitor gastric tube feedings for assigned patients
- Document patient assessments and care accurately using Cerner electronic health records
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient recovery throughout an average 14-day stay
- Adhere to all facility policies, scheduling requirements, and call-out notification procedures
Required Qualifications
- Active, valid LVN or LPN state license — must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1.5 years of inpatient rehabilitation experience, within the last 2 years
- Current BLS (CPR) certification
- Proficiency in phlebotomy and IV therapy
- Experience with gastric tube feedings
- Ability to work an alternating schedule including every other weekend and holidays as assigned
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NIH Stroke Scale certification (facility can assist with obtaining onsite if not already held)
- ACLS certification (required if serving in a Charge Nurse role)
- Experience with Cerner electronic health records system
