Contract | Days (5x8 Hours, 6:45 AM – 3:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist in cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures within a short-term acute care facility
• Maintain a 1:3 ratio in the cardiovascular operating room environment
• Participate in on-call coverage including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
• Adhere to department dress code and facility policies throughout the assignment
• Support continuity of surgical services by potentially floating to nearby sister facilities as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active NBSTSA certification (CST) required
• Minimum of 2 years of consecutive experience in cardiovascular surgery (Cardio Thoracic and Vascular)
• Valid compact nursing/surgical tech state license must be in hand at time of submission
• Travel experience required
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront at time of submittal

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel contract experience in a cardiovascular or surgical services setting
• Experience in a Level II Trauma Center or similarly complex acute care environment
