Registered Respiratory Therapist – NICU

Contract | Nights | 36 hours per week | Every third weekend rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret tests and procedures to assess and manage patient care in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members
• Work autonomously across a variety of clinical settings, including administration of respiratory care protocols
• Manage artificial airways and mechanical ventilation in Level 2 and Level 3 NICU and Special Care Nursery environments
• Administer aerosolized medications and provide oxygen therapy to neonatal and pediatric patients
• Support delivery room respiratory care within a birthing hospital setting

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Minimum 2 years of related work experience required, with NICU experience required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association required
• Certified to manage artificial airways, mechanical ventilation, aerosolized medications, and oxygen therapy

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Delivery room respiratory experience preferred
• Pediatric respiratory therapy experience may be considered in addition to NICU experience
