Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Rotating Weekends and Holidays | 72 Guaranteed Hours Biweekly (excluding on-call time)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and diagnostic testing for respiratory therapy patients
- Administer prescribed respiratory treatments and patient care
- Evaluate the effectiveness of treatments and adjust care plans accordingly
- Maintain accurate department records and documentation
- Draw arterial blood gases as required
- Respond quickly and effectively when triage situations arise, coordinating transfer to higher-level care as needed
Required Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) License
- Active AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification
- NICU and/or PICU experience required
- Ability to draw arterial blood gases
- Travelers must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
Preferred Experience / Skills
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
