Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (0800–1830) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients to determine physical, mental, and spiritual needs in the perioperative setting
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Provide patient and family education, explanations, and pre/post-operative instructions
• Apply nursing clinical judgment to recognize and communicate changes in patient condition
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
• Participate in on-call coverage, including one weeknight and two weekend days per month, with the possibility of floating to other facilities as needed

Required Qualifications

• Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Ability to fulfill call requirements as needed by the department

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with orthopedic, urology, and spine surgical procedures
• Experience with robotic-assisted surgical cases
• Prior operating room scrub and/or circulating experience
