MRI Technologist – Radiology/Cardiology

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (Thursday–Saturday, 6:45 AM–7:15 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, and musculoskeletal studies
• Execute advanced imaging techniques including diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, spin echo images, T1 and T2, CINE, and peripheral magnetic resonance imaging
• Utilize surface coils and operate GE and Siemens MRI equipment
• Document and chart patient information accurately using EPIC
• Float to additional nearby facilities as needed per unit requirements
• Participate in Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team assignments; may be required to report during catastrophic events, mass casualty incidents, or disasters

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience required
• First-time travelers will not be accepted; prior travel experience is required
• Active ARRT certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• NC state license or Compact license required (pending licensure acceptable at time of submission)
• Experience working with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with chest MRI imaging
• Proficiency in image post-processing
• Familiarity with neonatal, infant, and pediatric patient populations
