MRI Technologist – Radiology/Cardiology

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (Thursday–Saturday, 6:45 AM–7:15 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI imaging procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, and musculoskeletal studies
- Execute advanced imaging techniques including diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, spin echo images, T1 and T2, CINE, and peripheral magnetic resonance imaging
- Utilize surface coils and operate GE and Siemens MRI equipment
- Document and chart patient information accurately using EPIC
- Float to additional nearby facilities as needed per unit requirements
- Participate in Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team assignments; may be required to report during catastrophic events, mass casualty incidents, or disasters
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of MRI technologist experience required
- First-time travelers will not be accepted; prior travel experience is required
- Active ARRT certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- NC state license or Compact license required (pending licensure acceptable at time of submission)
- Experience working with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with chest MRI imaging
- Proficiency in image post-processing
- Familiarity with neonatal, infant, and pediatric patient populations
