Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (5x8, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM) | No weekends required | No on-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized wound care nursing services within a large acute care teaching hospital environment
• Assess, treat, and document wound care needs for assigned patient populations using Epic electronic health recordspotentially float to like units within the facility as needed to meet patient care demands
• Participate in pre-start compliance activities including completion of required facility modules prior to the start date
• Adhere to facility policies, including emergency response protocols during hurricane season (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Wound Care (WOCN) RN
• Current BLS certification required
• WOCN certification required (continence certification not required)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric nursing experience highly preferred
• Prior experience charting in Epic
• Experience working in a Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma, or teaching hospital setting
