Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) / Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) – Night Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Process and analyze laboratory samples including blood, body fluids, and tissue to support diagnosis of diseases, illnesses, and medical conditions
• Perform testing for hospital inpatients, emergency room patients, outpatients, and clinic specimens on a 24-hour basis
• Conduct blood banking procedures including antibody identification and emergency blood banking protocols
• Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation, including chemistry analyzers
• Ensure all testing and procedures comply with CLIA regulations and CAP accreditation standards

Required Qualifications

• ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) required at time of submission
• Experience with Epic laboratory information system
• Experience performing antibody identification procedures
• Experience with emergency blood banking
• Experience operating the Ortho Vitros 5600 analyzer

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a high-volume hospital or health system laboratory environment
• Familiarity with both inpatient and outpatient laboratory workflows
