Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting with a staffing ratio of 1:2–3
• Manage and monitor ventilator-dependent patients and those requiring telemetry monitoring
• Perform IV starts and other critical care nursing interventions for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Float to Med/Surg unit within scope of practice when ICU census requires
• Document patient care accurately using the Epic charting system
• Fulfill every-other-weekend scheduling requirement as part of standard rotation

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in MO or a qualifying compact state (must match permanent residence)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required; first-time travel assignments not accepted
• ACLS and BLS/BCLS certifications required
• Proficiency with ventilator management, IV starts, and telemetry
• Candidates must reside beyond a 75-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Ability to comply with all pre-start compliance requirements including modules and lab work

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Epic electronic health records system
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric ICU patient populations in a high-acuity environment
• Comfort floating to Med/Surg within scope of practice
