Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Neuro/Ortho Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit within a 233-bed acute care hospital
• Manage a patient assignment of up to 1:6 ratio during night shift hours
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for all clinical documentation and charting
• Float within service line to support facility needs across applicable units as required
• Fulfill weekend shift requirements, which may include Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday rotations every other weekend

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Missouri or a qualifying compact state (must match permanent residence); pending MO license submissions accepted
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Must be able to commit to the full contract term of 13 weeks with a maximum of 7 days of requested time off

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in Medical Surgical, Telemetry, Neuro, or Orthopedic nursing settings
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system
• ACLS certification (may be required to obtain prior to compliance deadline)
