Special Procedures Technologist (Allied) – IR/Special Procedures

Contract | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Onsite | 13 Weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology (IR) procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards of care
• Assist physicians during IR and special procedures, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment used in special procedures and vascular interventions
• Document procedures and patient information accurately within the electronic health record system
• Collaborate with the clinical team to support smooth workflow throughout the department

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• Active ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience within IR or Special Procedures specialty
• IR or EVOR experience required
• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Training or experience in general vascular coronary angiography and special procedures
• Prior experience in catheterization procedures
