Emergency Room Registered Nurse – Night Shift (with House Supervisor Responsibilities)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | Thursday, Friday, and Saturday Nights (19:00–07:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in an emergency setting with initiative, flexibility, and responsibility under minimum supervision
• Triage patients safely, rapidly, and accurately
• Communicate effectively with physicians regarding patient status and changes in condition
• Cross-train in other nursing departments as operational needs arise
• Float to Med/Surg unit when needed

Required Qualifications

• Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Must pass a nursing medication competency test
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, staff, and the public
• Basic computer skills required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2+ years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Working knowledge of Electronic Medical Records systems, including T-System and CPSI
