Registered Nurse – Renal / Telemetry (Travel Contract)

Contract | Travel | Nights | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: June 15, 2026

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care on an 18-bed renal medicine unit with patient ratios ranging from 1:4 to 1:6
  • Perform and manage peritoneal dialysis using cyclers and related equipment
  • Operate and document within a Cerner EMR system
  • Utilize mobilization and lift equipment in accordance with unit protocols
  • Rotate weekend and holiday assignments as scheduled
  • Float to like units or serve as a sitter as operationally needed

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure appropriate for the state of practice
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience
  • Peritoneal dialysis experience is required; candidates without this experience will not be considered
  • Current BLS certification
  • PCT certificate

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Certified peritoneal dialysis nurse credential
  • Prior experience with Cerner EMR
