Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Varies)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on an Acute Neurology/Medical-Surgical unit
- Monitor and assess neurological and medical-surgical patients throughout assigned shifts
- Support unit operations including coverage of overflow bed capacity
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately and in a timely manner
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Medical/Surgical or Acute Neurology nursing
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Prior experience in an acute neurology or neuro step-down setting
