Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Neuro Unit
Location: Atlanta, GA
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Night shift, 12-hour shifts, varies

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized nursing care to patients on the Neuro Medical Surgical Unit, including overflow beds as needed
  • Assess, plan, and implement patient care in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
  • Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and respond to emergencies with clinical expertise
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
  • Support the implementation of unit protocols and quality standards

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a Neuro Med Surg or similar specialty
  • Current AHA BLS certification
  • Active RN license in the state of Georgia or applicable state licensing
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • AHA ACLS certification preferred
  • Experience with neuro patient care and managing overflow beds
  • Ability to adapt to variable schedules and shift rotations
