Registered Nurse IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Title

• PCU Registered Nurse (Float Pool)

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Float to all PCU and IMCU floors with a focus on cardiac population, including STEMI, NSTEMI, CTS, and C/P cases.
• Manage cardiac drips such as Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors.
• Provide care for telemetry beds with lower acuity levels as assigned.
• Maintain patient safety and vital signs according to hospital protocols.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EPIC EMR).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Georgia.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a similar-sized facility.
• Experience with cardiac populations and related drips preferred.
• Ability to float across multiple units as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a stepdown or IMCU setting.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR system.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
