Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (5x8 Hours, 7:00–15:30) | Guaranteed 40 Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Perform VAC changes and wound dressing changes in accordance with care protocols
- Conduct wound assessments and document photographic records of wound progression
- Provide ostomy care and related patient education as needed
- Float within service line scope to support facility needs as required
- Participate in a weekend rotation of approximately one shift every six weeks
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; Missouri license or compact license accepted (pending Missouri license considered at time of submittal)
- Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing (WOCN) certification required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS/BLS) certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of wound care nursing experience
- Candidates must reside beyond a 75-mile radius of the facility location
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with peritoneal dialysis
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health records charting system
- Prior travel nursing experience welcomed; first-time travelers accepted
