Contract | Nights | 4x10 Hours | Saturday – Tuesday, 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a high volume of CT imaging procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
- Operate Siemens CT scanners in a fast-paced, high-acuity short-term acute care environment
- Manage both inpatient and outpatient caseloads, including complex and trauma cases
- Utilize PACS systems and administer contrast agents in accordance with facility protocols
- Float within the radiology/CT service line as needed to meet facility demands
- Document and chart patient information accurately using Epic
Required Qualifications
- Active ARRT certification in CT – must be in hand at time of submittal
- Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience
- BLS certification required
- Proficiency with PACS and contrast administration
- Experience in both outpatient and inpatient work settings
- Competency in CT procedures: abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Center, teaching hospital, or large acute care hospital setting
- Siemens scanner experience strongly preferred
- Experience with IV starts, portables, and biopsies
- Familiarity with advanced CT procedures such as brain perfusion, colonography, CT arthrography, myelography, drainage, aspirations/biopsies, and transplant studies
