Contract | Days | Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM (4x10-hour shifts)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI imaging studies including chest, abdomen, pelvis, head (with and without contrast), musculoskeletal trauma, and cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine
- Prepare and administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs as required
- Provide care across all patient age groups from neonate through older adult in both acute care and outpatient settings
- Operate MRI equipment from multiple manufacturers including GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba, and utilize PACS for image management
- Adhere to isolation precautions and maintain compliance with applicable safety and infection control protocols
- Float to other units or campuses as needed based on census, limited to areas of demonstrated competency
Required Qualifications
- Active South Carolina QRSA (SCQRSA) license required — no pending licenses accepted
- ARRT certification in MR (ARRT MR) required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of MRI technologist experience
- Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
- Must not be a first-time traveler
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and/or CT in addition to MR
- Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center or high-acuity hospital environment
- Familiarity with multi-vendor MRI platforms and advanced imaging protocols
