Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) – Home Health

Contract | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy assistant services to patients in a home health setting under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Implement and carry out established treatment plans to support patient rehabilitation goals
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility standards
• Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and care team regarding patient status and plan of care updates
• Adhere to facility attendance and compliance policies throughout the duration of the contract

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina PTA license (pending license accepted; must be obtained prior to start date)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of PTA experience; 2 years preferred
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility (local candidates within 75-mile radius are not eligible)
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of initial submission; requests made after submission will not be considered
• Compliance documents must be submitted at least 5 business days prior to scheduled start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Home health experience strongly preferred; all PTA experience will be considered
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system
