Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit throughout the night shift
- Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
- Administer medications, manage IV lines, and respond to obstetric emergencies as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and progress in the medical record
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- COVID vaccination status required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-acuity Labor and Delivery setting
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in obstetric emergencies
