Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit throughout the night shift
  • Monitor maternal and fetal status during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
  • Administer medications, manage IV lines, and respond to obstetric emergencies as needed
  • Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe patient outcomes
  • Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and progress in the medical record

Required Qualifications

  • Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submission
  • Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
  • COVID vaccination status required

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience working in a high-acuity Labor and Delivery setting
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills in obstetric emergencies
