Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for labor and delivery patients in a Critical Access Hospital setting
- Monitor and support patients through antepartum, intrapartum, and immediate postpartum stages
- Deliver postpartum care to mothers following delivery
- Provide mother and baby (couplet) care, supporting newborn assessment and family education
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Wisconsin or compact state eligibility
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in Labor & Delivery, postpartum, or mother-baby nursing
- Ability to work night shift hours
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Critical Access Hospital or rural healthcare environment
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Experience providing couplet or mother-baby care
