Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Variable Call Schedule | Every Other Weekend and Holiday Rotation Required | Projected Start: May 12, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 2-room Cardiovascular Operating Room within a Level II Trauma Center environment
- Perform circulating duties for CVOR procedures including CABG, valve replacement, thoracic, and vascular surgeries
- Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio in accordance with unit staffing standards
- Float to the main OR as needed based on unit demand
- Participate in on-call rotation including evenings, weekends, and holidays per facility policy
- Document patient care accurately using the facility EMR system (Meditech)
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Florida or through Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Minimum of 5 years of CVOR experience
- Main OR experience with willingness to float to main OR as needed
- Ability to work a variable call schedule including weekends and holidays in rotation
- Strong adaptability and team-oriented work style
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Ability to scrub in addition to circulating CVOR cases
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- Experience working in a high-volume or trauma-designated surgical environment
