Radiology / Cardiology Tech – Diagnostic X-Ray / Rad Tech

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (13 Weeks) | Days, 5x8-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday) | On-Site | Call responsibility for one 8-hour shift every two weeks (call windows include weekday evenings/overnight and weekend rotations)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures in accordance with facility protocols and standards of care
• Operate portable imaging equipment, including Carestream portable machines, as needed
• Accurately document patient information and imaging data using electronic medical record systems
• Fulfill on-call obligations for one 8-hour shift every two weeks, covering assigned call windows
• Float within scope of practice to other areas within the facility as needed
• Complete required orientation modules and maintain compliance with facility policies throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification required; copy of certification must be submitted with application
• Valid Virginia state radiologic technology license required (pending license accepted at time of submission; license must be in hand by the Wednesday prior to start date)
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility (50-mile radius restriction applies)
• Must be willing and able to float within scope of practice within the facility
• References required at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic medical records strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Carestream portable imaging equipment preferred
