Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit serving an elderly population with conditions including respiratory diseases, infections, dementia, and neurological issues
• Float to other units and/or campuses as needed based on census, performing only tasks within demonstrated and documented competencies
• Collaborate with charge RN each shift to support unit flow and operations within a team-oriented work environment
• Complete required pre-assignment modules within 48 hours of receiving login credentials prior to contract start
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the EPIC electronic medical records system

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina
• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience
• Prior travel nursing experience
• Demonstrated competency in caring for patients with neurological and respiratory conditions
