Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Onsite | Days | Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts); occasional extended hours based on patient discharge needs

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring for outpatient surgical patients recovering from a variety of procedures
• Care for patients undergoing joint, hand, general surgery, urology, endoscopy, and orthopedic procedures
• Assess patient readiness for discharge and coordinate same-day discharge planning
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams to ensure safe and timely patient recovery

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio RN license or compact state RN license (permanent Ohio license required at time of submission)
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent RN experience in PACU specialty
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications (no pending renewals)
• Epic electronic health records charting experience
• No open background case or license hits

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience gained within a single facility or location
• Familiarity with ambulatory surgery center or outpatient surgical environments
• Two verifiable professional references from a manager, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months in the applicable specialty
