Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 3x12-hour shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit within a short-term acute care hospital setting
• Monitor and manage patients with telemetry needs, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Maintain patient-to-nurse ratios of approximately 1:6–1:7
• Float to like units with like patients as needed to meet facility staffing needs
• Attend required staff meetings and complete all assigned onboarding modules prior to start date
• Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June through November) if required

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact RN license must be in hand prior to start date
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Must complete all assigned facility modules prior to start date
• Availability to work every other weekend as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Telemetry nursing experience
• Demonstrated ability in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health records charting system
