Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days | 12-Hour Shifts | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Support Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 10-bed ICU/PCU overflow unit with patient ratios of 2:1 (ICU) and 4–5:1 (PCU)
• Perform and manage advanced hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and Targeted Temperature Management (TTM)
• Administer and monitor critical care pharmacology including IV sedation, paralytics, and vasopressors
• Assist providers with bedside procedures such as chest tube insertion and intubations as needed
• Conduct bedside shift reports and, when serving as relief charge nurse, perform nurse leader rounding
• Float to other units as required per facility floating policy

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure with a minimum of 2 years of Medical ICU experience in a large facility
• Proficiency with hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
• Experience with central line management and critical care pharmacology
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency with Cerner documentation system
• Must be a critical thinker, flexible, and able to work collaboratively within a team

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a combined ICU/PCU overflow or stepdown environment
• Familiarity with Targeted Temperature Management (TTM) protocols
• Prior travel nursing experience in a high-acuity setting
