• Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Schedule / Job Type
• Part-time, 13-week contract, guaranteed 36 hours/week, shifts on days
Key Responsibilities
• Provide physical therapy assistance to residents at the veterans home
• Support therapy plans developed by licensed therapists
• Assist in implementing therapeutic activities and exercises
• Document patient progress and perform related clinical tasks
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient care
Required Qualifications
• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license or certification
• Previous experience working with adult or veteran populations preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a days schedule
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous work in a skilled nursing or veterans’ facility
• Knowledge of therapeutic modalities and documentation procedures
