Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) | Projected Start: June 22, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate group therapy sessions including CBT and DBT modalities within an inpatient behavioral health setting
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and participate in treatment team meetings
- Manage case coordination and develop individualized discharge plans for adult and geriatric patients
- Provide crisis stabilization support and intervention for inpatient psychiatric patients
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatry, nursing, case managers, and activity therapists
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas licensure as an LMSW, LCSW, LPC-A, or LPC
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in behavioral health
- Strong experience working with senior adults (geriatric population)
- Inpatient crisis stabilization or inpatient psychiatric experience required
- Current CPR/BLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience providing CBT and/or DBT group therapy
- Background in acute care inpatient settings
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR system
