Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days, Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM with overnight call coverage; 2 call weeks and 2 full weekends per month
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an endoscopy unit with a 1:1 patient ratio
- Assist with and support procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, PEG tube placement, bronchoscopy, and EBUS
- Administer and monitor moderate sedation during endoscopic procedures
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and anesthesia staff in a fast-paced procedural environment
- Document patient care accurately using the facility EMR system (Meditech)
- Participate in overnight call coverage rotation as scheduled
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS/BCLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of endoscopy nursing experience
- Moderate sedation experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech EMR
- High-Level Disinfection (HLD) and scope reprocessing experience
- Familiarity with Olympus endoscopy equipment
