Surgical Technologist – Transplant (CST)

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Independently scrub liver recipient transplant cases and other complex surgical procedures
- Perform scrub duties utilizing proper aseptic technique across a high-volume surgical environment
- Support large open abdominal, general, urology, thoracic, gynecological, plastics, Whipple, liver resection, and free flap cases
- Operate and assist with advanced surgical equipment including the DaVinci XI robotic system
- Fulfill on-call requirements of 40–60 hours within a 6-week schedule, including holiday coverage
- Float within the hospital or to affiliate locations as required
Required Qualifications
- Active NBSTSA certification (CST) required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of surgical technologist experience
- Liver transplant scrub experience is required – candidates without this experience will not be considered
- Demonstrated proficiency in aseptic technique and scrubbing complex, multi-specialty cases
- License must be in hand prior to start date
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience scrubbing Whipple procedures, liver resections, and free flap cases
- Familiarity with robotic-assisted surgery platforms
- Experience in a high-volume surgical setting with 30+ cases per day across multiple OR suites
