Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

Job Title
• Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (Travel)

Location
• Dickson, TN

Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 12-week assignment

Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Monitor fetal and maternal status using advanced fetal monitoring techniques.
• Assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Perform procedures such as C-sections, circumcisions, and intra-uterine monitoring.
• Transition and assess newborns, respond to obstetric emergencies (e.g., shoulder dystocia, PPH).
• Collaborate with an experienced team to deliver high-quality maternal and neonatal care.

Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience, including labor and postpartum recovery.
• Ability to handle OB emergencies with competence.
• Experience with inductions (Pitocin, Cervidil) preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Familiarity with fetal monitoring education and advanced obstetric procedures.
• Experience with shoulder dystocia, postpartum hemorrhage, and emergency response.
• Proficiency in operating labor and neonatal equipment such as CPN monitors, IV pumps, infant warmers, and telemed neonatology equipment.

Note: This is a travel assignment scheduled to start on 07/06/2026, working night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Must be available for a 12-week assignment, working 3 nights per week in Dickson, TN.
