Contract (13-Week Travel Assignment) | Days | Start Time: 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM | On-Call Required | Variable Schedule
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scrub technologist duties across a broad range of surgical service lines including general surgery, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma
- Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio within the operating room environment
- Utilize Cerner documentation system for accurate and timely patient recordkeeping
- Adhere to a variable scheduling structure with on-call responsibilities as required
- Float to other departments as needed per facility floating policy
Required Qualifications
- Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an operating room or surgical setting
- Broad surgical knowledge across multiple service lines including general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma
- Proficiency with Cerner electronic documentation system
- Ability to fulfill on-call obligations and work a variable schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume, large acute care hospital environment
- Demonstrated adaptability to floating across departments within a surgical setting
