Travel Occupational Therapist – Inpatient Rehabilitation

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Onsite | Projected Start: June 1, 2026 | Preferred Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday
Key Responsibilities
- Perform occupational therapy evaluations on inpatient rehabilitation patients
- Provide daily occupational therapy treatments with a patient ratio of 4–6
- Utilize unit equipment including Hoyer lifts, wheelchairs, rollators, NuStep, and light gait systems
- Document patient care and maintain records using Meditech EMR
- Float to acute care or outpatient settings as needed
- Adhere to facility dress code, attendance, and workplace conduct policies
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Occupational Therapist license in the state of Texas
- Minimum of 1 year of occupational therapy experience
- Strong time management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior inpatient rehabilitation experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR
- Experience working with rehabilitation equipment such as Hoyer lifts and gait assist devices
