Key Responsibilities

  • Provide physical therapy treatment and care to patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Implement established treatment plans and adjust techniques as appropriate to patient progress
  • Document patient care, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in accordance with facility standards
  • Float to additional facility locations as needed to support patient care demands
  • Participate in weekend rotation coverage on a scheduled basis

Required Qualifications

  • Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Alabama or ability to obtain prior to start
  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday with one weekend rotation per month
  • Willingness and ability to float to additional locations as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
  • Experience working in a multi-site or float capacity
