Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Rotating shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts (night/day rotation)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced critical care to CVICU patients in a hospital setting.
• Monitor, assess, and respond to patient needs during assigned shifts.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Document patient status and care provided accurately in electronic health records.
• Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and compliance standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of recent, full-time CVICU experience, travel experience acceptable.
• Permitted Ohio license or compact state license in hand at time of submission.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Valid ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate test scores (pass required).
• Completion of background check and drug screening within specified timeframe.
• Willingness to work at least every other holiday.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a high-volume, tertiary care CVICU setting preferred.
• Ability to quickly adapt to rotating shift schedules and work independently.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
