Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Telemetry unit during 12-hour night shifts
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, responding promptly to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EMR system
- Participate in holiday coverage as required, except when approved time off has been requested
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of Telemetry RN experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Must be willing and able to float to other units as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience with Cerner or similar EMR platforms (facility uses Altera Sunrise, noted to be very similar to Cerner)
