Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Performs cardiac and interventional procedures in accordance with established department protocols and within standard time frames; prepares and orients patients to procedures.
• Provides direct patient care and radiation protection to patients, fellow workers, and self while in the Cath Lab.
• Operates imaging equipment, computers, and other department equipment in accordance with department and manufacturer recommendations.
• Prepares and maintains written or computerized documentation in accordance with department and facility policy.
• Maintains supplies, orderliness, and cleanliness in the work area on a regular basis.
• Provides on-call coverage after normal hours of operation; on-call requirement is approximately 10–12 days per month, including weekends.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program required.
• ARRT certification (or board eligible) required.
• Active New Mexico State licensure required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• Thorough knowledge of radiographic equipment, cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, radiographic positioning, medical terminology, and basic computer skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of one year of radiologic or Cath Lab experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of interventional procedures in Cardiology and Radiology preferred.
