Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic audiograms and evaluate hearing disorders primarily in pediatric patients
  • Administer a full range of audiological assessments including visual reinforcement audiometry, conditioned play audiometry, otoacoustic emissions, auditory brainstem response, and acoustic immittance testing
  • Prescribe and fit hearing aids, cochlear implants, and other amplification devices
  • Communicate test results and treatment plans effectively to parents and guardians
  • Develop and coordinate follow-up care, including amplification, therapy, and referrals as needed
  • Document patient evaluations accurately in compliance with organizational standards

Required Qualifications

  • Doctoral Degree in Audiology (AuD.)
  • Active Audiology License in the State of Texas
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association)
  • Certification from ASHA or ABA

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Pediatric audiology experience or externship preferred
  • 0-3 years of professional experience in audiology
