Key Responsibilities
- Conduct diagnostic audiograms and evaluate hearing disorders primarily in pediatric patients
- Administer a full range of audiological assessments including visual reinforcement audiometry, conditioned play audiometry, otoacoustic emissions, auditory brainstem response, and acoustic immittance testing
- Prescribe and fit hearing aids, cochlear implants, and other amplification devices
- Communicate test results and treatment plans effectively to parents and guardians
- Develop and coordinate follow-up care, including amplification, therapy, and referrals as needed
- Document patient evaluations accurately in compliance with organizational standards
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral Degree in Audiology (AuD.)
- Active Audiology License in the State of Texas
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Certification from ASHA or ABA
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Pediatric audiology experience or externship preferred
- 0-3 years of professional experience in audiology
