Travel Mammography Technologist

Location

Anchorage, Alaska

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift, Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM | 40 hours per week, 8-hour days | No weekends, holidays, or on-call

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures with high-quality positioning standards
  • Operate Hologic Selenia Dimensions and Affirm Stereotactic equipment
  • Perform stereotactic-guided wire localizations and biopsies
  • Utilize EMR systems including Epic, Volpara, and McKesson PACS
  • Assist with breast MRI positioning as needed when floating to MRI department
  • Maintain patient-centered care with attention to detail and procedural follow-through

Required Qualifications

  • ARRT Registration in Mammography – ARRT (M) and (R) required
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum of 8 hours of Tomosynthesis training required
  • Proficiency in both screening and diagnostic mammography required
  • Minimum 2 years of mammography experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience with stereotactic-guided biopsies and wire localizations
  • Weekly mammography Quality Control experience
