Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care/Stepdown unit setting
• Monitor and assess patients requiring progressive care level interventions
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and respond appropriately to cardiac changes
• Potential to float to additional units to care for the same patient population based on operational needs
• Participate in holiday rotation, working at minimum every other holiday
• Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety evaluations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in IMC/PCU/Stepdown specialty; travel experience in Stepdown accepted
• Active and unrestricted Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required
• No open licensing or background hits; all required certifications must be active with nothing pending

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PCU/Progressive Care experience preferred
• 18 months of experience within a single location preferred, though combined experience is accepted
