CT Technologist (Dual-Modality: CT & X-Ray)

Contract | Onsite | Mids Shift | 4x9-Hour Shifts | Wednesday through Saturday, 2:30 PM to Midnight (30-minute lunch) | Training period for first two weeks: Tuesday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans and X-rays in a specialty orthopedic hospital setting, including both inpatient and outpatient populations across all age groups (pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics)
- Conduct a wide range of X-ray procedures including extremities, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, and musculoskeletal imaging using both room-based and portable equipment
- Perform CT procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CTAs, and multiplanar reconstruction
- Manage a daily caseload of up to 20 patients across inpatient, outpatient, ER, and adult ICU settings
- Operate portable imaging equipment as needed and rotate across multiple departments or affiliated off-site locations
- Lift, push, pull, or move patients and equipment in excess of 150 pounds, with or without assistive devices
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R) — must be held at time of submittal
- ARRT certification in CT — must be held at time of submittal
- Active New York State (NYS) license in hand or confirmed ETA on issue date — must be held at time of submittal
- IV Certification — must be held at time of submittal
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
- Hands-on experience operating Siemens imaging equipment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Experience in orthopedic imaging or specialty hospital environments
- Familiarity with work settings including outpatient, inpatient, ER, and adult ICU
