Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Perform cardiac rhythm identification, including accurate recognition of all critical rhythms
• Administer and manage medications using facility medication dispensing systems
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using electronic health record systems
• Perform triage and respond to a broad range of emergency patient presentations
• Float within the hospital to other units as needed based on skillset and manager discretion

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State Registered Nurse license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Department experience (5 years preferred)
• BLS certification (required prior to start)
• PALS certification (required prior to start)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification (required prior to start)
• Experience with EPIC electronic charting and Omnicell medication management system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification
• Triage experience
• Level 1 trauma experience
• Telemetry monitoring experience
