Contract | Days | 12-Hour Shifts | Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist in a high-volume cardiovascular and multi-specialty operating room environment within a large Level 1 trauma facility
• Support a wide range of surgical case types including open heart, transplant (liver, renal, pancreas), trauma, neuro, ortho, GYN, urology, ENT, plastics, cardiothoracic, vascular, robotic, and hybrid room procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation shared equitably among all traveling staff, with call requirements specific to cardiac surgery
• Adapt to variable daily scheduling based on unit needs; block scheduling is not available
• Float within the OR as needed; floating between separate facility locations is not required
• Serve an adult patient population across both inpatient and outpatient surgical settings

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of operating room experience required
• CVOR experience is required
• Active NBSTA certification required; must be on file at time of submission
• Demonstrated scrub experience and ability to scrub cases independently
• Prior travel assignment experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with robotic and hybrid room procedures (cystoscopy, bronchoscopy, lead extraction)
• Familiarity with transplant, burn, or hepatic-biliary surgical cases
• Comfort working in a large, high-acuity surgical environment with diverse and complex case types
