Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy care within NICU, PICU, and CVICU settings, focusing on pediatric patients requiring high-acuity (Level 4) care
• Float as needed to additional NICU and pediatric rehabilitation locations within the health system
• Deliver advanced respiratory support and monitoring in alignment with unit protocols and patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to manage complex pediatric and neonatal cases
• Complete required facility orientation modules and maintain compliance with all credentialing requirements prior to and during contract

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• NBRC certification – active and in hand at time of submission
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – active and in hand at time of submission
• Advanced NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification – active and in hand
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification – active and in hand
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Hands-on experience in PICU and/or NICU at a high-acuity Level 4 care facility
• Experience with pediatric cardiovascular intensive care (CVICU)
• Background in neonatal and pediatric respiratory management across multiple unit types
