Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy care within NICU, PICU, and CVICU settings, focusing on pediatric patients requiring high-acuity (Level 4) care
- Float as needed to additional NICU and pediatric rehabilitation locations within the health system
- Deliver advanced respiratory support and monitoring in alignment with unit protocols and patient care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to manage complex pediatric and neonatal cases
- Complete required facility orientation modules and maintain compliance with all credentialing requirements prior to and during contract
Required Qualifications
- Active Ohio Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license – must be in hand at time of submission
- NBRC certification – active and in hand at time of submission
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – active and in hand at time of submission
- Advanced NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification – active and in hand
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification – active and in hand
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- Must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel plus nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Hands-on experience in PICU and/or NICU at a high-acuity Level 4 care facility
- Experience with pediatric cardiovascular intensive care (CVICU)
- Background in neonatal and pediatric respiratory management across multiple unit types
