MRI Technologist – Radiology/Cardiology

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Friday 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM, Saturday–Sunday 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures on both inpatient and outpatient populations across assigned shifts
• Manage a weekend caseload consisting primarily of outpatient studies, with a mix of inpatient and outpatient cases on Fridays
• Ensure proper patient positioning, imaging protocols, and quality control standards are maintained throughout each scan
• Collaborate with radiology and cardiology teams to deliver accurate and timely imaging results
• Complete required facility orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations, with acceptable scores

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in MRI technology
• Active, permanent Ohio MRI/Radiology license in hand at time of submission (compact licenses accepted for starts dated 1/1/23 and forward)
• All required certifications must be active with nothing pending
• One supervisory reference (manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director) in the MRI specialty required for submission
• Must pass background check; open cases or license hits will not be accepted
• Must complete BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 48 hours of contract signing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in both inpatient and outpatient MRI imaging environments
• Familiarity with cardiology-related MRI protocols and imaging procedures
