Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology / Special Procedures

Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with central line insertion and ongoing central line management
• Provide care and maintenance of implanted ports and PICC lines
• Perform IV starts and support procedural nursing needs within an interventional radiology setting
• Maintain patient safety through application of infection prevention and isolation precaution protocols
• Conduct pressure ulcer assessment and implement prevention measures
• Operate independently in a small clinic environment, demonstrating critical thinking and self-motivation alongside a two-nurse team

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license – valid compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records required
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Ability to complete Ohio state fingerprinting requirements promptly upon contract signing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an interventional radiology or special procedures clinical setting
• First-time travel nurses are welcome to apply
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and adapt quickly in a low-staffed clinical environment
