Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type:
Travel – Days, 10-hour shifts, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities:

• Circulate in the operating room for orthopedic, neuro, trauma, and other surgical cases
• Independently manage two OR rooms, including trauma cases, on weekends
• Operate with advanced equipment such as robotic systems, laparoscopic tools, and specialized endo vascular and cardiac devices
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and EMR documentation standards
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of circulating RN experience in the OR, with emphasis on orthopedic, neuro, and trauma cases
• Ability to independently circulate complex surgeries including Da Vinci robotic procedures and trauma cases
• Must be able to work two rooms on weekends and be staffed in-house for trauma designation
• Must adhere to dress code: scrub color is blue

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience with Meditech EMR system
• Prior work in trauma-designated facilities
