Contract | 8-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | Monday–Friday, Four 10-Hour Shifts | 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM | 40 Hours Per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate and scrub for cardiovascular surgical procedures including open heart and endovascular/open vascular cases
• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care within a dedicated cardiovascular and vascular institute setting
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency throughout all phases of care
• Float to other areas and fulfill on-call, weekend, and holiday requirements as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 or more years of CVOR core experience
• Proficient in both scrub and circulate roles for cardiac open heart and endovascular/open vascular procedures
• At least one prior travel nursing contract completed
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
• Current CBC, Drug Screen, and QuantiFERON Gold (within 90 days) required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience scrubbing and circulating in a cardiovascular institute or high-volume cardiac surgical environment
• Familiarity with a broad range of open heart and vascular surgical procedures
